For the past two years, we've created more than three hundred pieces of content for PetSmart's consumer app, including more than a hundred videos like the samples above. Some of the articles, slideshows, and videos provide helpful information for pet parents; others simply revel in the cuteness of puppies, kittens, turtles, birds, and, yes, snakes. For this ongoing effort we've used multiple writers, editors, DPs and video editors.
In January of 2018 we published our first newsstand Special Interest Publication for Bauer Publishing Group, "Mindfulness Made Simple." For this first element in a three-bookazine project, we pulled together a creative team of ten, including an art director, an editor and four writers, a researcher, a photo retoucher and an illustrator, as well as a partnership with a photo house that could handle the high volume of photo callouts for this very visual 100-page magazine. Five weeks later we had "Mindfulness," on newsstands now—with subsequent titles in the works as we speak.
About a year ago we created videos and other collateral in support of Informatica's global meeting of 5000+ at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. From banner stands throughout the event, multiple writers liveblogging the multiple tracks to C-suite powerpoint presentation design help to customer success story videos. When we saw our LifeTime Fitness video playing to an enthusiastically cheering crowd across the oversized video wall of the mainstage at the keynote, we knew we were in a different world.
In 2016 we were approached by Wicked Cow Studios to produce a book that would become the centerpiece of a new multimedia franchise about the brain and how it works. We assembled a team of twelve to get the job done—researchers, designers, illustrators, line- and copy-editors, and even a scientist "celebrity wrangler." Result: In 2017 we published "It's All In Your Head," a handsome coffee-table book that's already been produced as a newsstand bookazine with Time, Inc., optioned for television, and with big things coming on the web, audio, and exhibit spaces—more details as soon as we're allowed to leak them.
